We just started LabAITechr to fix how slow things are in pathology labs right now. Basically we are building simple python scripts and AI tools that can read raw blood test reports (like a CBC) and automatically point out the abnormal results.
The main reason we are doing this is because lab techs get really tired looking at hundreds of data points manually every day. It's a highly repetitive process that is prone to human error when dealing with extreme fatigue.
Our goal is to cut down on these human errors, eliminate transcription mistakes, and make the whole verification process much faster and safer for both the lab and the patient.
